Illinois Makes Cocktails-to-Go Permanent With New Law

SPRINGFIELD – The National Restaurant Association says Illinois is the 30th state in the nation to make cocktails-to-go permanent. One of more than a dozen bills Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed earlier this month,Senate Bill 618 allows cocktails and mixed drinks to be sold by restaurants for delivery and curbside pickup. The legislation also allows craft brewer license holders to offer rewards and loyalty programs for customers.
