(Chicago, IL) — The Blackhawks are officially naming their new head coach.
The team says former Tampa Bay Lightning assistant Jeff Blashill is their new leader.
He was also previously the head coach of the Detroit Red Wings from 2015 to 2022.
Blashill will replace interim head coach Anders Sorensen.
