CORTLAND – After selling a winning $349 million Mega Millions ticket, Casey’s General Store in Cortland donated $5,000 each to Barb Food Mart and the DeKalb County Veterans Recognition Fund. The store received a $500,000 retailer bonus for selling the ticket, which was claimed by a group of players calling themselves “Blessed.” The donations support food access and veterans’ services in DeKalb County, following the March 25 drawing.
