NORMAL – Electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian is building a 1.2 million square-foot supplier park in Normal that the company said will create nearly 100 new jobs. The park will allow the company to become more involved in the production of component parts for its R1 and R2 models. Rivian officials said the expansion will allow the company to buoy their supply chain, keeping it consistent throughout the manufacturing process.
