ROCHELLE – Rochelle Municipal Utility’s Summer Saver Rate will begin soon, encouraging customers to reduce energy use during peak hours. Customers with account numbers starting with 01 or 04 should conserve electricity from 2 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, between May 22 and September 18. Those with account numbers starting with 02 or 03 should do the same from June 9 to October 9. Customers already enrolled remain on the rate unless they choose to cancel. New sign-ups can register online in just a few minutes.
