DeKalb Begins Watermain Replacement on North First Street

DEKALB – Construction is underway on a water main replacement along North First Street in DeKalb. The work will extend from Tilton Park Drive to the Kishwaukee River bridge, with most installation happening between 870 and 1201 N. First St. Traffic will remain open, but lanes will be reconfigured, and drivers are advised to use caution. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained, and the project is expected to be completed by May 16th.
