SYCAMORE — Mail-in donations are now being accepted for Give DeKalb County, a 24-hour fundraising event set for May 1st that supports local nonprofit organizations. Since 2014, the event has raised more than $10.7 million. Donors can give online from midnight to midnight on May 1, with contributions boosted by a Bonus Pool funded by Community Partners.
DCNP (DeKalb County Non-Profit Partnership) Director Ben Bingle said mail-in donations are being accepted now.
“Our mail-in donation period is open for Give DeKalb County. The address is 475 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, Illinois, 60178,” he said.
“Those donations go to the DeKalb County Community Foundation, and then we direct the gifts to the organizations that you selected. There is a mail-in donation form. It’s available at our website, www.GiveDeKalbCounty.org. You simply complete that form, indicate which organizations you want to give to and the amounts, and then you write a single check to the DeKalb County Community Foundation for the total amount.”
The event is organized by the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership, a program of the DeKalb County Community Foundation.
