Hope of Ogle County to Host Open House in Oregon

OREGON — Hope of Ogle County will host an open house Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its legal advocacy office, 101 S. Fourth St., Suite 100, where visitors can tour the facility and meet with advocates about available services.

“We have 20 employees where we provide counseling, emergency shelter, case management, support groups, legal advocacy, and we answer hotlines 24 hours a day,” said Executive Director Rebecca Laudati.

The organization provides free and confidential support for victims of domestic violence while working with law enforcement and community partners to assist clients. Laudati said their team served about 400 clients last year.

”So this is gonna be at our Oregon office where our legal advocates work. And so that’s for people to see what we do with the court, how we help victims with orders of protection and other services.”
