OREGON — The Oregon City Council has approved an ordinance expanding resident only parking restrictions to both sides of Gale Street between South Eighth Street and 10th Street. The change last week adds the area to the city’s existing resident parking zones, which already include sections of 10th Street, Ninth Street, Jefferson Street, and Madison Street. Under the ordinance, only vehicles registered to people who live within 300 feet of the parking location or visitors to those residents may park in the designated areas. City Manager Darin Dehaan said that they hope this will solve conflicts residents are reportedly having with employees or visitors to Oregon Living Rehab.
