White Sox split a doubleheader with Washington

The Chicago White Sox split a doubleheader with the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, losing the first game 6-3 but winning the night cap 4-0.

In game 2, Erick Fedde moved his record to (4-0) as he allowed 3 hits over 7 innings.

Andrew Vaughn hit a 3-run home run and a solo shot for Chicago.

In game 1, the Nationals scored 3 runs in the 8th inning for the win.

The White Sox are (10-8) since starting the season at (3-22).

The final game in the series Wednesday in Chicago.
