ROCHELLE - The Lee-Ogle Transportation System is seeking input from Rochelle residents on potential fixed bus routes. They will be gathering data about transport needs, your mobility, and the places you need to visit on a regular basis. You can chat with their team today at Rochelle City Hall from 1 to 2:30 PM and from 5:30 to 7 PM. The goal of the fixed route program meeting would be to not only identify where routes would be possible, but to address potential issues with those routes, like lack of sidewalks to industrial parks where people would work. The service they already provide, with point to point pickup and dropoff, will continue. LOTS will also be offering free rides to and from the meeting.
